The sweet Adriana has two brilliant projects to show us today

“To my Valentine – Together, forever LOVE”

This is an altered art project which I enjoyed making.

It is a chipboard stand with a matching mini book cover. With “tinies” little versions of the amazing chipboards from ID. Being  February, the month of LOVE, I made a Valentine’s Day theme project.

Lots of techniques , distress inks  and stamping.

Cover of the book I used Tim Holtz embossing folder for the covers of the book. This created a texture cover, I inked the raised design and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then painted gold paint all over it, then painted distress inks.

Inside book – used G45 papers –Curtain call, Fashionista, Botanicabella.Meg’s Garden vintage image.Seam bindingribbon which I dyed with Distressed Stain - red brick.

The chipboards are just inked with distressed inks.

Additional matierals – Prima flowers, mini flowers

Diecut – Spellbinders Fancy tags twoPunches- Martha Stewart vine leaves& fancy doily edging punch.

For the stand –

I painted it with gesso, then with gold paint, distress stain (a couple of coats) then used Kaisercraft script clear stamp andstazon ink.

My 2^nd project is dedicated to the city of LOVE – PARIS.  

One day I am going to visit this beautiful city and experience this view. I call this project

“A room with a view” – PARIS.

With the window shutter I painted it with gesso (couple of coats) then texture paste to give a rustic texture on the chipboard. Inked the edges with chalk inks. The alphas are inked with Versa Color Bamboo then brown around the edges. Glossy accents on top.

Papers are Prima Pixie Glen Collection “Cornwell”

And 6” x 6” papers

Kaisercraft blossoms – blueshell & fushia.

Tim Holtz die cut – Tattered Florals

Lace, Film slides. Cream card stock.

Distress inks, stamp, glitter mist.
