There are two kinds of people at Christmas time. Those who are organised (not me!). And those who are not (definitely me!). So this post is for those who are in the second category, just like me, and have not yet done all their Christmas cards. Here are two last minute Christmas cards that you can create in a matter of minutes...
These cards are so super easy and simple. All you need is some background paper (in two contrasting colours), Imaginarium Designs Christmas bauble chipboard pieces, embossing powders, glitter, and ribbons.
I have created these baubles by inking them in silver, adding glossy accents and a sprinkle of clear glass beads (for texture), then coating the beads with Kindy Glitz (for added sparkle). Once totally dry, I have adhered them to the card, then adhered silver bows for the finishing touch. I have inked the greeting with silver ink, then embossed with silver glitter embossing powder. The outside border has been created with Liquid Pearls. This card took me maybe 10 minutes to create (not including drying time).
This bauble has been inked with red and gold inks, then embossed with red and gold glittered embossing powders. I have used the gold embossing powder on the greeting as well. The baubles have been layered together, adhered to the card, and finished with a gold bow. The outside border has been created with a black pen and Liquid pearls. This card too maybe 5-8 minutes to create (not including drying time).
And the best thing about these cards, apart from them being quick and simple, is that you can create them in any colour combination. The possibilities are endless.
