Every one loves our Butterflies and by looking at these amazing creations, we need to add some more butterflies to our collection, but when you have the perfect butterfly that looks amazing on any layout and works well for any style of scrapbooking then you really don't need anymore.
Today I want to show you two very different layouts using the same butterfly.
Today I want to show you two very different layouts using the same butterfly.
The first one is one of Carole's layouts.
Carole has called it "Happy".
She is our french Design Team Member and her work is so Chic.
I love the way she has tied all her elements together.
She has used our most popular butterfly designs in two different sizes
IDS0001 & IDS0002 Butterflies
Carole applied some silver acrylic paint over the chipboards for a shiny effect and then she added pearls in the center of the butterflies.
IDB005 Heart top Picket Fence.
Carole certainly has done a "Happy" layout. Its all the attention to detail and the way she layers everything that sets her work apart.

Now for something different, Louise has used the same butterfly but smaller.
We make a butterflies on a board and they are tiny.
Louise is the master of using the backing board that the butterflies are in. They come in a board to protect them, which all the rest of us throw away. But not Louise, I call her my upcycling queen, and she is so good at it.
Louise has created this layout about herself, which is brilliant, as most of us don't do many layouts on ourselves.

I love the way her layouts are minimalistic but still have lots of interesting elements. Note the wire and beads.
As you can see from the close up photos, Louise first scraped gesso over the whole sheet of butterflies and then gave it a light spray with mist.
Louise creates her layouts on 12x12 sheets of chipboard, which gives them a unique look, it also allows her to use sprays and inks, which she does so well.
