Was there a time that you feel overwhelmed with this hobby? I did. It has been a few months that I have to put my scrapbooking hobby to a halt because of work and summer vacation. Then when I was ready to go back, I can't find Mr. Mojo.
Thank goodness to online classes. I signed up to Nic Howard’s online class that inspired this layout and helped me get my mojo back. We were instructed to use chipboards and of course I used the gorgeous Imaginarium chipboards because they are perfect for any design I wanted to achieve.
Beauty
Products Used: Webster Pages and Pink Paislee patterned papers, Ranger Distress Inks, Gesso Acrylic Paint, Shimmerz Pearlz and Kraft Cardstock.
Imaginarium Design Chipboards used:
Flourish 1 (IDFL0001)
9 Cogs on board (IDS0018)
Steampunk Clock (IDT0016)
Altering Imaginarium chipboards are very easy. I am sure you have seen a lot of techniques used by the amazing Design Team here. This time around, it was my little 4yr old (the girl in the photo) that altered all the chipboards I have used for this layout.
The three shape chipboards were stamped with 2 different colours of distressed inks. Then, it was randomly painted with white paint on some of the edges. While the word “Beauty” was initially painted with white then coated with yellow Shimmerz Pearlz.
Just Waiting

The chipboard was painted with two colours here, white and teal. I blended them together with a sponge and just used dumping technique overlapping each colour in several application.
So next time you need a push to be creative once again, there are a lot of resources available online - online classes, sketches, video tutorials, challenge blogs. You can also drop by at our Ning community here to get inspiration from the ID Design Team and other members using the gorgeous Imaginarium chipboard.
Thanks for dropping by!
