This is Gerry here today sharing with you two of my latest layouts with our amazing chippies!
My first layout today is "Brother & Sister Love"...
Other Products: * "Rondelle" collection from Prima Marketing ** Decorative Strip Die from Sizzix |
I used here the big and middle Oval Frames to frame my photos.
N.B. I cut out the inside swirls of the frames!
The chippies were painted with Glimmer Glam, then sanded and
finally I added white acrylic paint.

The word "LOVE" was painted with Gesso and then
I added touches of baby blue acrylic paint.

Because I wanted to have "playful" title I treated the
phrase "Brother & Sister" differently.
The words "brother" and "sister" were separated
from each other and the sign "&" as well.
As a base I painted them with Gesso. The sign "&" was treated
exactly as the oval frames.
The two words have different touches of paint
- black, grey, blue, yellow and partly modelling paste.

My second layout today is "You Growing Up"....
Other Products: "Firefly" collection from Prima Marketing |
The hot air balloon was inked with pink and blue ink.
I added partly "Stickles" for some glitter look.

I cut out the rectangle from the circle border.
Then I cut the border in the middle and I used only one half for this layout.
The chipboard I used here was treated once again with Gesso,
different colours Glimmer Glam and there are also
some touches of modelling paste.
I love adding modelling paste because of the texture it gives...

The little bird was first painted and then stamped
by using a swirly stamp.
