Today you are with Sandrine, and I have 2 projects to share with you! And yes they are blue! Blue for boys and blue for little girls! I will start with a layout!
In this creation my chipboards were used differently to what they were initially designed to be! I chose 2 different borders and they are no longer borders! You should never feel bad cutting up your borders!
The first border Edward Relief border was painted with Gesso and cut into little rectangles and attached at the top of my banner
The second border is the circle border of which I cut one circle. I painted it white with Gesso, now that's not all it is, I transformed into a shaker box by adding some upcycled packaging! I was lucky enough to attend Finnabair's class last month and salvaged all the beautiful packaging we used during her classes! So I found a perfect size flower plastic cover to fit in the middle of the circle, pushed it in, added some beads and glued some paper for backing and voila! A very easy accent for my grungy page!

Another fun projects! I really loved creating this, and it will make another great gift for my family!
Another fun projects! I really loved creating this, and it will make another great gift for my family!
The background was created with some letters from Alphabet set, I first glue all my letters in the back and covered the lot with some eggshell coloured paint! Because it is canvas it was strong enough to take all the paint. Even though you can't see all the letters it still give my project some gorgeous texture and volume for my photo mat. And it is a lot more interesting than plain canvas!
The next element I created was a compass cluster, as the main theme of my mini canvas, so I started by the bottom layer which is a compass, I then added circle cut off from a border, I then added a tiny Edward Relief Small circles and then the compass hand, the whole was attached together with a brad.
My next cluster on the canvas border was created with a spade top fence border, slightly coloured white with Titanium Pan Pastel
The title "Destination" was glue on top standing up with Dimensional Magic and coloured with PanPastel.
