Playing with Texture

Hi everyone!!! I am here to share with you a layout that I did using some chipboard by Imaginarium Design.

For my first layout, I did a lot of layering to add dimension a dimension effect. I also love my page to look like a digital page so I played with foam tapes, texture and shadow.

Products Used: PinkPaislee and BasicGrey patterned papers, Stickers by Pink Paislee, White Gesso, Molding Paste, Shimmerz paint, Ranger Crackle Paint, and Tattered Angel paints.

Imaginarium Design Chipboards used:
Branch and Leaves (IDDN0014 and IDDN0013)

For this chipboards, initially painted it with white gesso to make sure that my colors will be vibrant. I then used old paper crackle paint to add a distress look. Finally to add texture, I added some molding paste using a sponge.

For the click and compass, I did the same technique at first painting it with white gesso and adding crackle paint. Once dried, I tried to chip-off some of the crackle so that some part of the gesso will show. I love how the final texture ended up...it looks like a rock surface.

For my second layout, I did a more playful page. I used a lot of negative space but still added texture using paint and molding paste for my background.

Products Used: Glitz Design, Lily Bee and MME patterned papers, Teresa Collins Memories Die Cuts, Kaisercraft Rubons, Freckled Fawn Doilies, Freckled Fawn Lovely Bits Hearts, Maya Road Cream Burlap Rose, Ormulu Flairs, modling Paste, Watercolor, Mist, and Liquid Pearls

Imaginarium Design Chipboards used:
Bicycle (IDS0011)

I used a very simple technique for the bicycle chipboard. Using a black acrylic paint, I mixed it with modeling paste to add volume when applied.
