Time to Say Goodbye to 2012 and Welcome 2013

Hello Everyone
It is always sad saying good bye to design team members who are leaving us. I hate doing it, over the year they become friends. So this week I am going to say good bye to them and welcome the new ladies joining our team for this year as well as re introduce the team members staying on for 2013.
So first I want to say good by to Auska.
Asuka has been on our team for the past two years. She is one amazing woman with two wonderful children. I was blown away when I first saw her work on Graphic 45's ning site.
Her attention to detail is amazing and her 12 x 12 layouts have layers and layers on them. She takes the most wonderful photo's.

She uses all kinds of mixed media to her layouts, paints, textured paste and more. If you are lucky enough to see one in the "flesh" as I have, then you can appreciate just how wonderful they are.

The above baby layout is a perfect example of Asuka's work. The layers and layers of  papers, embellishments and bits and pieces are just wonderful. So much to look at, each little element is a work of art. She has even made a frame for her layout.
Asuka has big plans for this year and I wish her all the best in her new venture. She will be sadly missed. I wish her and her family all the best and a wonderful 2013.
Now I am delighted to introduce you to one of our new Ladies.
Evgenia Sokolinskaya from Russia.
Here is what she had to say in her application.
"I'm in scrapbooking since 2010. I was designer for several Russian challenge blogs, I also have couple of publications in the most popular Russian magazine "Scrap Info". One of the projects I mostly proud of is card where you can switch on true light (I used light diode) and I believe that this is my "know  how" because I have never seen something similar before :) I made a tutorial that was published in this year's Christmas issue of "Scrap Info" magazine".
You are going to love her style of scrapbooking as much as I did when I visited her site.
I am so looking forward to seeing what she creates for us this year.

Now I want to re-introduce you to Gerry van Gent from the Netherlands.
.

Gerry has been on our team for the past year. Her work is beautiful and she is a lovely team member.
Here is what she had to say about herself when she applied for our team.
"My name is Gerry. I`m a mom of two adorable kids and a wife of a very supportive hubby. I`m a SAHM and I have plenty of time to spend with my kids and of course I have plenty of time for my hobbies...scrapbooking and photography. I got involved seriously with scrapbooking back in 2003 when my first child was born and I never stopped since then. I find inspiration in my kids, in every day life and of course in the products I work with.
My work is always detailed and dimensional. I love misting, masking, stamping, making my own embellishments and I love hand-stitching on my layouts. I also got addicted to chipboard for the last year and I love it. I always try to find different ways to use it as well.
I participate in many online message boards and galleries. Love to give workshops and teach people different techniques.
I introduced Imaginarium Designs chipboard to a Dutch scrapbook store "Scrapdelight" and I`m glad the owner trusted me when I told her that the quality of the chippies are amazing and great to work with."
She is so creative, and does the most amazing altered art along with layouts.

Gerry's work is always so pretty and delightful. There is a freshness about it. She has the most beautiful photos of her family.

Gerry likes fussy cutting and layering as well as working with mixed media. She is an all round scrapbooker and does amazing work. You are going to love what she shares with us this year.

Make sure you leave a comment welcoming Evgenia and Gerry to our design team and wishing Auska all the best. I will be choosing a winner each post to receive some of our new release chipboard.
